The Betts CHR2H1SSTS Vapor-Pro Hydraulic Vapor Recovery Valve is a versatile, robust positive opening vapor valve that facilitates the transfer of displaced air and vapor during loading and unloading. Its 316L stainless steel construction and PTFE seals suit a wide variety of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and chemicals transported in DOT 407 and 412 cargo tanks. The enhanced body design offers best-in-class flow rates. The swivel connection mounts to a 3-inch NPT nozzle, and the single 2-inch NPT outlet includes a sacrificial shear groove. The hydraulic actuator is easily detachable for quick cleaning or replacement without removing the entire valve from the tank, and the hydraulic system is isolated from the tank's lading to prevent contamination. A red anodized aluminum piston/indicator gives a positive visual signal of the valve's open/closed state, with an optional extension flag (part 29209SS) available for greater visibility from the ground. The valve fully opens with as low as 200 psi hydraulic line pressure, so when plumbed with Betts chemical hydraulic valves, it opens before the loading/unloading valve actuates. A seal cable can be laced through the top cap, swivel nut tabs, and fixed seal tabs for tamper resistance.
