The Betts EV46458ALTS is a 4-inch aluminum emergency valve with a cable-operated grooved 90-degree outlet and a Tef-O-Sil tapered seat.
Betts tapered seat emergency valves are designed and manufactured with Teflon-encapsulated seals for compatibility with a wide range of products. The body is constructed of aluminum with stainless steel trim, and the shear section is tested per TTMA RP84 and meets 49CFR178.345-8. This cable-operated version is actuated via a mechanical lever arm rather than an air cylinder.
