The Betts EV46455ALTS is a 4-inch aluminum emergency valve with an external air-operated grooved 90-degree outlet and a Tef-O-Sil tapered seat.
Betts tapered seat emergency valves are designed and manufactured with Teflon-encapsulated seals for compatibility with a wide range of products. The body is constructed of aluminum with stainless steel trim, and the shear section is tested per TTMA RP84 and meets 49CFR178.345-8. Air-operated valves include an external air cylinder to help keep gasoline or other products from contaminating the air supply.
