The Betts 2024CCW-10 Sanitary Manway is designed and manufactured to meet the demands of the sanitary industry. All product contact surfaces are mechanically polished to a #4 finish, and the entire manway is electropolished to a lustrous finish for corrosion resistance and easier cleaning. It features a 7-gauge, 10-inch high collar, a 10-gauge stud platform, a 10-gauge inner head, and a 12-gauge dust cover. The bottom, gusseted ACME threaded studs are paired with heavy-duty hold-down dogs and easy-grip wing nuts with brass inserts. The gasket meets sanitary and FDA requirements with a sealing lip to reduce leakage from surge, and the stud platform includes a mounting lip for easy fit-up with a rectangular deck plate. An optional 14-gauge circular fit-up sleeve (p/n 6796SL) is sold separately for direct connection to the tank's outer shell.
