The Betts SV956SSM is a 6-inch sliding gate valve with a 316 stainless steel body, stem, and gate, metal-to-metal seat, connecting an ANSI flange to an ANSI flange.
The Betts SV956SSM Sliding Valve is an economical, manually operated external stop valve that provides a quick open or close function. The 316 stainless steel gate offers premium corrosion resistance, and the adjustable packing nut with woven PTFE-infused packing allows for easy stem adjustments. The metal-to-metal seal offers advantages for many applications but is susceptible to wear and scratches; a replaceable o-ring seat sliding valve is available if a maintainable seal is required. This valve connects an ANSI flange to an ANSI flange and is constructed entirely of 316 stainless steel.
