The Betts SV966MSM Sliding Valve is an economical, manually operated external stop valve that provides a quick open or close function. The 316 stainless steel gate offers premium corrosion resistance, and the adjustable packing nut with woven PTFE-infused packing allows for easy stem adjustments. The metal-to-metal seal offers advantages for many applications but is susceptible to wear and scratches; a replaceable o-ring seat sliding valve is available if a maintainable seal is required. This valve connects an ANSI flange to 6-inch threaded pipe and features a steel body with a 316 stainless steel stem and gate.
