The BTI 3-692-822515 is a 3-inch Series 692 sanitary butterfly valve in a lug body style with an EPDM seat, designed for chemical and food-safe applications. The disc and stem are constructed from 255 duplex stainless steel, which is more corrosion resistant than 316SS and approximately twice as strong, allowing for a thinner disc profile without sacrificing structural integrity.
