Vapor hoses are an essential component of tank trailer safety. When hauling hazardous chemicals or petroleum products, vapor recovery is a necessity for operational compliance. At Littlejohn, we realize that there are countless vapor recovery applications requiring hose assemblies with specific couplings, sizes, and material makeup. With our Build Your Own Hose tool, you can build the exact vapor recovery hose you need in seconds.
Here are the vapor recovery hose types we offer:
Kanaflex – KanaPower ST120LT2
This hose from Kanaflex is a drop hose for gas tank trailers, but it also functions as an effective vapor hose. It is lightweight, flexible, and features a nitrile rubber static dissipating tube that provides maximum resistance to static buildup when connected to a grounding system. Furthermore, it is constructed with a rigid PVC helix, synthetic braiding, a smooth bore, and a corrugated exterior.
Kanaflex – FlexVapor ST120VP
Specifically engineered for gasoline vapor recovery, the Kanaflex FlexVapor is a high-quality, durable hose. It features a nitrile rubber rube, a rigid PVC helix, a smooth bore, and a corrugated exterior. Furthermore, its effective temperature range is -40F to 140F.
Continental – Contitech Paladin
This hose from Continental, the Contitech Paladin, is both lightweight and flexible, making it an excellent choice for vapor recovery applications. It is made with static dissipating, black nitrile synthetic rubber and is reinforced with synthetic fabric plies. Although this is designed primarily as a drop hose, it functions equally well as a vapor recovery hose.
Kuriyama – TigerVapor HD
The Kuriyama TigerVapor is a heavy duty hose made from polyurethane, which ensures it will not swell or stiffen up over time like conventional vapor hoses. It also has a rigid PVC helix and embedded grounding wire, enhancing its durability and safety. Also, this hose’s see through construction enables operators to see if fuel backs up in the vapor recovery system.
