The TKA8809 is a direct-fit, OEM-compatible 30 inch OD aeration pad engineered for Fruehauf-style pneumatic dry bulk trailer aeration systems. Aeration pads introduce compressed air into the powder at the bottom of each hopper section, fluidizing the material so it flows easily through discharge piping; a degraded or failed pad slows unloading and can cause bridging or rat-holing. The TKA8809's porous polyester fabric construction, with 24 bolt holes for mounting, distributes low-pressure air evenly across the pad surface to fluidize dry bulk materials such as cement, lime, flour, plastic resins, and flyash for fast, complete trailer discharge. Pair with the TKA9699 Fruehauf-style envelope gasket for a complete aeration pad assembly (sold separately).
