• Step 1: Surface Preparation Cleaning the substrate surface helps any adhesive or tape achieve a better bond (depending on the surface, use alcohol or glass cleaner - Let it Dry.
• Step 2: Energize Strip For best results, energize the light for about 15 to 20 min to help unfold the light and ease the installation. The light becomes very flexible once it's warm. The PVC jacket is very durable, but it's also not very flexible when cold. When installed cold, the light is trying to return to its curved state and seeks to pull away when first mounted.
• Step 3: Start Removing Red Tape Please hold the grey double-sided tape when removing the red cover. You may want to use a paper clip to help detach the red cover from the double-sided tape (at the beginning)
• Step 4: Application Apply the MLS to the clean surface - Press Firmly during the application (you may go back and press again). Pay attention and keep/help hold the grey tape for the first 2 inches - The grey double-sided tape should not need help anymore.
• Step 5: Curing Let it cure for 24h to 48h.
