Low cube pneumatic tankers typically haul industrial goods. Furthermore, they are dense products like cement and sand. At higher capacities, these dense products can create dangerously heavy loads. Therefore, low cube trailers are ideal for these dense, heavy, industrial products.

Conversely, high cube pneumatic tankers often haul lighter, less dense goods, such as fly ash. Although these high cube trailers have many industrial applications, their versatility also makes them excellent food-grade tankers. These trailers frequently haul agricultural products such as grain, sugar, and flour.
